Although this insanely detailed 1:18 diecast model is not made from real carbon fiber, the car that it represents is one of those that every carbon fiber enthusiast appreciates. The AUTOart 74671 is part of the Signature line, and is simply breathtaking in person. Each one is individually serial numbered.
Officially licensed from Lamborghini and with certificate of authenticity, this model specifically represents the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento. The Sesto Elemento was an ode to carbon fiber, utilizing an insane amount of the material, including their introduction of a type called Forged Carbon. The real car weighs just 999 kilograms and has a power-to-weight ratio of only 1.75 kilograms per hp. There were only 20 units produced.
This detailed model is made up of 247 separate metal and plastic parts. As mentioned, the real car has a fully exposed carbon fiber body. While that would be way to expensive to replicate in a diecast model such as this one, the entire exterior is painted with a carbon fiber texture that you can feel. Talk about attention to detail.
