This wallet uses the same CF-Lex technology that Common Fibers is known for. The easiest way to explain how this works is they take a pre-cured, rigid sheet of carbon fiber, and then use a laser to remove resin in a key area. This creates a flexible area of carbon fiber, while still retaining 80% of its strength. By developing this process, they are able to create a flexible hinge in the middle of one sheet of carbon fiber.
The SLM style wallet was designed for those who travel light. It doesn't take up a lot of space and it folds really flat, yet still gives you some great organization. On the right is an open ID pocket as well as a pocket behind that for either folded bills or more cards. On the left are three credit card pockets. All of this is protected by RF shielding materials to protect you.
While the exterior of the wallet is carbon fiber, the interior is made with rip-stop, which is a very strong and durable material. It has a higher tensile strength than leather, at a fraction of the thickness.
