Carbon Fiber & Leather Money Clip Wallet
The hood is nice but the headgear was absolutely terrible. I drilled new holes and modified it for a Jackson headgear. I mean the one that came in it was awful. I can't reiterate how bad
I wanted the lightest helmet because I wanted the most comfortable helmet. The mold work was impressive but the design was impractical and had to be modified. Why is the helmet to elongated? The neck covering extension gets in the way and needed to be removed. Furthermore I'm very dissapointed in the quality of the head gear. Why put so much effort into designing a helmet and provide it with trashy headgear? Now I've had to make an additional purchase of some speedglass headgear and further modifications will need to be made in order to work. This helmet is uncomfortable, unpractical, poorly designed, with cheap components. C'mon, I'd expect more from an American company. A good helmet should be tight, light, comfortable, and practical for dailly use.
Light and easily flippable. As for auto dimming lenses....they're the standard today for amateurs
Auto dimming welders helmets are the standard today and are fairly cheap. Remove the current lens and install an auto dimming lens and you've got a 10 star rating on this welders helmet.
I use mine all day at work (I repair welders for a living) and this has become the mask that everyone borrows.... As it is longer than most standard helmets, it helps prevent you from getting burnt when you have your top shirt button undone, especially when spray-arc welding. The carbon construction means it is light and comfortable to use, even for extended periods. If this came with an auto darkening lens (I added one of my own from ebay) it would get the full 5 stars.
