What Is the Pagani Zonda Revolucion?
The Pagani Zonda Revolucion is a track day automobile created, produced, and built by Pagani, a well-known Italian manufacturer of sports cars and carbon fiber components. They came to widespread attention after the Pagani Zonda R previewed at the 2007 Geneva Motor Show. Only 15 Zonda Rs have been produced along with the Zonda R prototype and an additional 5 Zonda Revolućion cars.
Pagani’s carbon composite manufacturing and consultancy arm, Modena Design, actually invented the patented composite material carbotanium. The carbon fiber and titanium are woven together - the material is strong yet light and can resist huge amounts of strain and heat. Pagani uses a mix of carbotanium and pure carbon fiber on their cars.

Plans for Release
Owner of TopCar Design, a Russian tuning firm, has acquired the fourth Pagani Zonda Revolucion and sent it on to Lanzante for modification. Although no details about the conversion have been released, it’s likely the car will be made more comfortable to drive on the road, starting with the suspension. To be street legal, a license plate holder and turning signals will need to be added.

Specifications
The Zonda Revolucion is powered by the same 6.0L naturally aspirated V12 found in the R model, which produces 800hp and 748 nm of torque. A 6-speed sequential gearbox sends power to the rear wheels. The Zonda Revolucion has had extensive modifications to the car’s aerodynamics and weighs just 1,070 kg (2,360 pounds) due to the extensive use of carbon fiber and titanium. This weight is likely to increase as Lanzante makes modifications for street use.
Pagani is the outright master when it comes to carbon fiber. The blue coloring added across the exterior panels of this Zonda instantly makes it an extraordinary masterpiece. It also currently sports a set of gold wheels and front bumper canards with colors of the Italian flag.
The Pagani Zonda Revolucion blue tinting doesn’t stop at the carbon fiber exterior. The inside of the hypercar is also decked out with an entire blue interior. Furthermore, the rev-counter around the Revolucion logo on the steering wheel is a very unique feature that puts it right in the driver’s eye-line.
There’s no doubt that the Pagani Zonda Revolucion is a formidable machine. And as we speak, Lanzante is currently in the process of analyzing what needs to be done to unleash this beast onto the road.
