Two things can happen when a luggage brand partners with a Formula One team. Usually it is a logo. Occasionally it is a design language.
Backpacks, carry-ons, briefs and accessories
The TUMI McLaren carbon fiber collection covers travel and daily carry, drawn from the same vocabulary as the race operation: structural panels, a restrained palette, and accents borrowed from the cars.
How it differs from the CFX line
CFX is a materials project and this is a design one. The carbon does similar work in both, but this is where the motorsport reference is explicit rather than implied, which is either the reason to buy it or the reason not to.
