TUMI CFX carbon fiber collection
Most fashion houses that use carbon fiber use a printed panel and hope nobody looks closely. TUMI built a composite instead.
Backpacks, cases, wallets and accessories
The TUMI CFX carbon fiber collection runs from backpacks and carry-ons through briefs, wallets and phone cases. It is a full range, not a capsule, which is unusual for a material collaboration.
Why it gets its own page
Because the material is engineered to flex rather than to stay rigid, which is the problem every carbon fiber bag runs into. That is real materials work rather than a finish, and it is the reason the collection behaves differently from every other carbon bag.
