This is a very cool passport case, but there are a few things to be aware of it you are thinking about buying it. I've been using it everyday for almost three months now, so I hope I can offer some useful insights.
First off, it is very light and offers good protection for your passport. I'd say the carbon fiber and finish are good--not the best I've seen but nice. The case is quite unusual; everyone who sees it notices it and comments on it. (This is not always desirable. I crossed a land border into Moldova and the border guard was very suspicious of the case and thought I must have drugs in it.)
Size wise, I have a US passport with extra pages and I can fit my passport and a couple of $100 bills, nothing more. There is no way I could get another passport in it.
Unfortunately, it is not the most convenient to use at the airport. Opening the case and taking out your passport is a two-handed operation, and you have to be careful not to drop the top. When you are dealing with your carry-on, taking off your watch, and everything else, needing both hands to show your passport is not ideal. Also, with a wallet style passport holder, you can keep your boarding pass inside the passport at the photo page and it is very easy to show both with one hand, whereas with this case you can't do that. I had to show my passport five times in Istanbul airport the other day, and eventually I just took it out of the case and kept in my pocket until I was on the plane.
The worst thing about this case, though, is that the top often get misaligned and becomes VERY hard to remove. Even if you put the top on very accurately, while it is in you bag or pocket it can somehow get misaligned and then feels like it is completely stuck. Usually I have to really struggle for several seconds to get it open. I find this really annoying, especially with all the other stresses of travel.
Where this case really shines is when you are in your destination country and you need to carry your passport around with you all the time. This case slips easily into a jacket pocket or slim pocket in your backpack. A wallet-style holder never really closes completely and I was always worried that the pages would get bent or damaged. I keep the case in my backpack and basically don't notice it, but I was very glad to have my passport on me twice when police randomly stopped me on the street demanding to see my "documents."
So for airport use, I'm going back to a wallet-style passport holder, but if you spend a lot of time walking around in foreign countries, this case is worth it.
