CarboSleek Carbon Fiber Rollerball Pen

I received my carbon recently. I have to tell you that I was really impressed with the quality and design. I got to tell you I’m not the person who is easily impressed. Having years of experience in making precision toolmaking, (tolerances down to .000050”), I looked at this pen very closely. I purchased this pen to replace my traditional Montblanc pen that O have had for 30 years. This carbon fiber pen is sleek and has a good heavy feel. Is is elegant and makes a statement at the same time. Going to purchase several more for gifts!

I have a couple dozen pens and this is my favorite one. My favorite refill is the PILOT Precise V5 RT Liquid Ink Refill. The only pen bodies I found that would accept this refill were cheap plastic. Now I've found the perfect pen body for my favorite refill. The body is slim enough for smaller hands. The carbon fiber is very elegant and the machined metal is perfectly fitted and finished. The cap posts smoothly without scratching. There is nothing to dislike, this pen should last for years and still look great. All of the parts scream quality. BTW, the supplied ink (Topball 850) is also very nice.

This pen is very nice. I have received multiple compliments on the look and feel/weight of the pen when held. I purchased a second pen to give as a birthday gift to a coworker.

I had never used a pen like this before, so I had a bit of a learning curve to get over before I managed to get it working for me. You have to apply a little bit of force and angle the pen slightly to get the ink flowing into strong, thin lines. Now that I know that, I really like that design decision, since it ensure you only use ink when you mean to.

The pen itself has a nice weight to it, and the grip area (which I believe is brushed metal) feels nice. It feels substantial in your hand. The cap takes a bit of force to take off and put back on, which I personally like. Finally, the look of the pen is exquisite, I'd say. When the light catches on both the polished metal parts and it, it really looks amazing.

I don't have to write too often, but now I always appreciate getting the chance to utilize this writing tool. This is the first nice pen that I've ever bought, and I couldn't be happy with it.

Love this pen! The diameter of this pen is just right, making it very comfortable to use.
