Of course, if you don’t need any power assist, you can switch to pedal mode. Urtopia’s built-in clutch technology offers a riding experience similar to that of a regular bike without the drag.
3. Smartbar for Intelligent Connection and Interaction
Urtopia claims that the smartbar on the bike is the future of smart, safe, and easy riding. With intelligent AI voice recognition technology, you can communicate and control the e-bike by voice. You can also choose your favorite voice and bell for notifications, so you can relax and enjoy the journey.
Urtopia allows you to connect with the bike from your smartphone through the Urtopia app via Bluetooth, Wifi, and 4G. You can track your total biking distance, average speed, time duration, and battery consumption. The data recording allows you to understand your cycling habits better, improving the efficiency of your daily work.
And don’t worry about software updates because the e-bike always keeps itself updated. Over-the-air (OTA) updates enable your carbon fiber bike to get the latest smart features and safety measures quickly.

The bike also has a highly-sensitive gyroscope to inform you when the bike gets moved via the app so nobody can steal your bike when it is left unintended.
The manufacturer also claims that the removable battery helps maximize the e-bike’s security. It takes only 2.5 hours to charge fully. The battery allows a riding range of up to 130 km at full charge. The battery is designed for about 1000 full-charge cycles, equivalent to nearly two years of regular use.
While other electric carbon fiber bikes cost over $4500, Urtopia has a budget-friendly price tag at $1999. Mass production of the first Urtopia e-bikes begins in December 2021, with delivery expected to start in February 2022.
