Forged carbon fiber products are made through a process where chopped carbon fibers are put into a compression mold and infused with a resin. The process allows for more complex shapes using carbon fiber, but are typically not as strong as their woven continuous strand counter part. The final product has a unique appearance that looks like a marbled carbon fiber.
