Carbon fiber watches
Watches are where carbon fiber stopped being a novelty material and started being a specification.
In the case and on the dial
Carbon fiber watches use the material where it does real work rather than as a surface treatment: in the case, where it changes how the watch wears, and on the dial, where it changes how it reads in light. Most of what gets sold as a carbon fiber watch is a printed dial and nothing else.
